    NNBS tune question

    Can you turn off the Displacement on Demand / Active Fuel Management? Like, completely?

    I believe so...Allen turned it off on mine...

    07 Z71 4x4, 6.0L, 3.73s, Turbonetics T76 @ 10 psi, 75 shot, Snow meth kit, PLX DM-100 wideband gauge, Nelson tune, Comp 212/216 .557/.561 114 lsa, 60# injectors, Yank 3000, 4L80E , Magnaflow - dumped, e-cutout

    Thank GOD. I've been hearing a ton of horror stories about guys and their exhaust sounding pathetic with the v4 mode.

    Yeah, I'm afraid no cats + super 44 = crap sounding in V4 mode.

    Yeah my wife has an 06 Impala SS with a DOD 5.3l. We put a 3in catless downpipe, 3in exhaust and some race flows out the back. Before the DOD was disabled it sounded like pure crap down the highway when the 4 mode kicked in. Im talkin bad like a redneck, glasspacked 80's model ford with half of the plug wires working. lol Not getting bad mpg's either. It changed a lil but its worth having the extra power and good sound.
