Exclamation Should i ditch the maggy for a turbo?

guy over on pt.net is looking for a trade, turbo kit for radix kit.
i know now and days everyone is going turboIm new to forced induction, can someone explain to me why?and would u trade if u were in my situation?the thing is,ill need injectors, oil tap,etc etc and fuel supply with his kit.(KB RACING)
ALSO i know for a fact that the 112 radix tested at magnuson dynoed 234rwhp stock, then after 112,it hit 356rwhp@5psi,do the math, how would a turbo compare to that?Im at 7psi going to 9-10 soon with a live tune,if that dont cut it,im gon have to do something else!!

How much power do you want? The 112 will max out around 500 rwhp with all supporting mods. A turbo can go much higher depending on how big it is.

Turbo is the only way to go I have had both. Kb Racing makes good kits. He just has a project for the supercharger. I would jump all over it.

man the turbo kit is just the start, need injectors and all sorts of other supporting mods and an intercooler if you plan on going over 7 psi... Not to mention I blew my KB racing kit up with 16 psi..... the turbo has alot more potential, but will need more parts. If it was a Trick kit I would say jump on it. Just my .02

    for build info

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

It depends, add up all the parts you'll need and see if it's worth it.

Are you getting just the hot parts, what about an intercooler, tubing, exhaust work, etc?

If you're happy with the power your maggie lays down, keep it! If you want more, you'll easy outgrow it.
My definition of out growing is when it just doesn't perform like you want.

    good luck,

So the only reason guys go turbo is cause of the more power they can push?
ill be happy with low 12's,but i dont think this 4.8 can accomplish that, for some reason the DENALI feels stronger, thats upsetting.
