    6.0 performance options?

    Here is the deal, i have a LQ4 "COMPLETE" trans included. I was wanting to put it into my 68 camaro. But, I can't really nor Do I want to put the truck intake in the camaro. I need to change the oil pan add fuel system to support the possible mods etc. I hope you get the idea here.
    A friend of mine has a 383 that is all eagle equipped with i-beam rods, iron eagle heads, 282hr cam in a 91 SWB.
    I was thinking of swapping him, but he said he is afraid of losing power.
    My question here is, if he is at 400HP with his 383, what could be done to make 400HP with the LQ4 in his truck?
    He would still use all of the LQ4 truck set up in his truck, as to where it will not fit in my Camaro. He could just drop it in his more less...

    Keep the LQ4, put a LS1 or LS6 intake on it, put a F-body oil pan on it, and a big cam like the T-rex or Magic stick and you will be right at the 400 HP mark with a good tune.

    Or you could put a small blower cam in it and a turbo and make awesome power and still get way better gas mileage than you would with the 383.

    That it just my opinion so take it for what it is worth, I just feel that the LS series motors are a way better platform than the old school small block chevy's.
