    i need header help.... badly.

first off, i would like to say this is a very informative site.
i have a new body style 2007 silver birch metallic 2wd regular cab 5.3l silverado 1500. lowered 4/7 with mcgaughys kit and factory tahoe 20's.
ill get some pics posted up in the newbie section soon.

i had my truck computer previously tuned (mild tune) by nelson.
now i did the basic boltons and thought i would get some long tube headers and "off road" y pipe.
so i sent the computer back to nelson for a performance tune.

so they have removed torque management, adjusted for the 160deg thermostat, now i have cold air intake and a free flowing exhaust and they are sending me a shift kit and servos and compensating for the new tire size274/45/20.

the computer is on the way back,

    and

now i cant find long tube headers.... just my luck.

has anyone installed headers for an older body 07.
if so does anyone know if they will work on a newer bodystyle 07.

i saw the dynatech stuff but wow thats expensive.
1500 bucks and it has converters that i wont use.

im stuck at the moment and dont know what to do. i dont mind mild fabricating and/or modifying.

i was hoping you guys could steer me in the right direction.
and yes, i agree, i should have done my research a little better before doing this...
    lol!

    and i understand that...
mind you my truck is the newest body style...
i dont see pacesetter or obx or lpp available for mine (i emailed carl at lpp and asked him).

i google the newer body style (say like 2008 silverado since its the same as 2007 new body style), and i cant find a thing.
let me know if im doing something wrong...

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
