water pump

ok so my water pump has been leaking water. i hadnt looked into it much until today because it has been parked for a week now and i havent felt like messing with it. well when i looked to see where the water was coming from it looks like its squirting out around a bolt.. dont know if i need a new pump or what? i need to know how to take the thing out if i need one too.. before i jump in and do something wrong. i know nothing about water pumps so yea. any help is appreciated

Is it an LS engine swap or a stock V6 or a stock V8 from 94? The LS most commonly leaks from the block to pump gaskets although one in 13 leak from the weep hole. The older style engines stock in a 94 leak most commonly from the weep hole.

Weep hole leak on anything = new pump. Gasket leak on Gen I and Gen II = new pump. Gasket leak on Gen III and IV = new gaskets.
