    i put LEDs in my cluster

    i put LEDs in my cluster and cleared my needles while i was at it...
    i had to order bulb holders in order to do this. i tried out clear leds first but it looked like poo.



    59 chevy apache>old school rod with 5.3.
    92 chevy swb>full frame, bagged, 98 interior swap.
    02 chevy swb>LT interior swap.
    01 tahoe> lowered on big wheels, family ride.
    97 ford diesel>big turbo,injectors,oil pump,etc.
    85 stang coupe> black on black, H/C/I.

    it was pretty ez, just be careful when you clear the needles. they break really easy, lucky i had another cluster for extras since i broke a few.

    q-tips and acitone, then i sanded the bottom little with 800grit sand paper to frost them.

    i also cleared another set of needles and did them i candy red.

    thats sweet dude i think i might have to pull a copycat move on you only i want red question though is the frosting part just so the needles are visible when lit up? or just a cool touch?

    the frosting is so the light lights it up better, red would look cool as well. i chose blue since im using the autometer cobalt gauges.

    i will post a pic of one of the needles i did in candly red.
