    custom tune questions

Emissions is coming up and I need to get my truck to pass with no cats. I thought about getting some o2 sensor simulators which I hear work pretty well. Most everyone says I should get a custom tune that deletes the catalyst codes completely. Has anyone had this done? if so, was it worth it? or should I just get the simulators. Thanks
