    new in wyo 56pickup

    this looks like a great site.I have a 56 chevy pickup that I recently started working on.It has a 327 turbo 400 and 9 inch. I just purchased a lq9 from a 04 escalade .I will probably have lots of questions like will it bolt to my tranny or should I just look for a 4l80

    The 400 will work, but you might need a different converter or flexplate.

    i have a 2001 chevy did a 4.8 swap to a 6.0l with mahle pistons 10.5:1,eagle 6.125' h beams,232 238@50.595 598 lift on a 112lsa,243 heads,44lbs motec IIs,tuned by Nick D,it makes 402rwhp,@5000lbs w/ me in it 13.75@101mph on 22' wheels
