specs on new truck

Just bought an '02 truck with the 5.3 liter. I was wondering what the power rating was, gear ratio, and type of rear end I have(not sure if it's a posi of not)

285 hp, 325 lb-ft torque bone stock....either the 3.42 or 3.73 gears, there are some codes in the glovebox, but I don't know which one is for which (most 4wd trucks have 3.73 and 2wd have 3.42 but there are always exceptions.......best way (well maybe not the best) to tell on the rearend is to see how many tires burn rubber!!! if in your rpo codes in glove box you have g80 or g86 you have
a posi or locker, if no code your peg leg one wheel spinner.

Oh well, I will be installing that Eaton posi soon.
