    Exhaust tip

I have a Magnaflow cat back system with the chrome exhaust tip. I'm guessing due to road grim and other crap, it's looking pretty sad. What's the best way to get it looking new again? I've heard oven cleaner will get all the crap off. Any ideas?

Also depends on what type of stainless it is. Not all stainless steel is "stainless" in function. There's a difference between 409 and others.

You can use WD-40, or a similar penetrating oil, and a rag. It works very well.

Or I guess you could do it after the muffler if you wanted to be "legal".
