Thread: swap for 6.0 or sc the 4.8 ?

    Hey guys, hope i'm in the right forum. I was wondering if it would be worth swaping in a 6.0 in the truck or go ahead and putting a blower on my 4.8 ? I'm kinda new to the site, but it think it could be cheaper to try to find a 6.0 w/ a 80e and mod the 6.0 w/ a good head/cam package. Just wanted ya'lls opinions on the advantages of either supercharging or swaping for a bigger motor. Thanks.

    yeah, go with the 6.0 and 4l80E. you have more room to grow and it is a bit cheaper also.
