My wife has an 07' impala ss. I am wondering when I put my cam and e-fans in will I be able to stay with her or beat her. I have a 2003 Avalanche Z71

my brother in law thought he could beat her with his stock extended cab 08 GMC 5.3 from a 60mph punch and she left him like he was setting still. Her car is pretty dang fast. I just had high hopes I guess.

Efans will give you no noticeable power or mileage. A cam (with a tune) would go a long way but I think you'll still be behind. It's not like you have a RCSB. An Avalanche is a Suburban without all of the roof and glass.

HA--good luck! I just rode in a friend's Imp SS that has a new downpipe, no cats, a 10 Series Flowmaster, and a live custom tune--that damn thing sh!ts and gets! Not bad for a FWD 5.3L!
