Question Gear and Truetrac install time?

Sorry for all the ?'s lately about my install but I'm needing to know approx. install time. My auto instructor has done several and is helping me with it. I already have bearings and ring gear on Truetrac. My instructor says were going to check backlash with paint and not micrometer and says he thinks we can have it done in 3 Hrs. on the lift at school. Is his idea:bsflag: or is it possible?
    Thanx in advance!

It took 3hrs for mine to be installed. Sounds right but mine was checked with a micrometer and paint.

    yeah...double check, triple check,

ive done 2 so far, the first one took about 6hrs, we put it in and took it out like 10 times before we got it where we wanted it,

the second one we did in about 2.5 hours, we got it right the second time we put it in....so yes 3 hrs is possible, experience is important though....otherwise you will waste a whole day putting them in
