    Just to be sure

I have a 2003 rcsb with a standard and 4.3. I have a 5.3 I want to put in it. What all will I need and where will I find it? Will everything (clutch, wiring, cooling) bolt up and work? Can you guys help me make a list of all of the parts or special tools I will need to make this work?

tranny stuff will just bolt right up, you will need a new pilot bearing. just get another one for a 4.8 with the 5 speed. it should work. cooling system will be a liitle small im guessing, not sure, should work while its cool, easy change later. you will need a new harness, Nelson will be able to help you with that. good luck

If you are not happy with the cooling system, you can replace it with an NNBS radiator. Very little fabbing involved. The new radiator is 34" approx. There is a guy at another forum that did this and it looks nice.

I believe you have to get new radiator hoses.
