    4.8 p.s. delete pulley?

    I do not need the power steering on my hot rod, WHat can I do about the pulley or do I get a shorter belt, what to do????

    I don't know of an easy solution. Maybe you can get this GM Performance 10055890 - GM Performance A/C Compressor Eliminator Bracket and Pulleys - summitracing.com to bolt into the PS pump location. I've seen them cheaper but this is the only picture I could find. You will need a pulley of some kind down there so the belt won't rub together.

    O.K. cool, what length belt will I need to get, I can try that but I will also look for a new bracket for that side.

    Could go to Street and Performance and get custom brackets that would look sharp on that rod.

    they are just so expensive. I called mark at S&P and he told me there is a different way to route the belt>
