    4wd

    i was wondering about trying to launch my truck in 4hi next time i am at the track, trying to get traction i was wondering if anyone does that and would it hurt nething?

    It won't hurt anything. Make sure it's in 4 hi though, don't try to launch in Auto 4wd.

    i launch in 4wd...but i have no choice lol...DamnYankee did this for a while and it was actually making him slower then leaving in 2wd and spinning

    a buddy of mine launches in 4wd sometimes but hes got a d-max, his front end gets shaky when he leaves the line

    i used to have a little torque steer...but here lately it just spins so it leaves pretty straight or just jumps to the right a little

    lol i would doubt it...just go to the track and try various ways and rpm launches and see what your truck likes

    Thats how I launched my truck at the track. 4hi every time

    2006 K1500 Vortec Max CCSB 6.0 4.10's, Nelson SD Tune, Trick Turbo kit T76 @ 10psi, 60lb/hr injectors, 4" duramax exhaust, snowmeth stage 2 kit, FLT Level 5 4L70E, Vig 2600, 40K trans cooler, 265/70/17 BFG All Terrains. 13.0 @ 102mph 1.8 60ft
