    2.25 or 2.5 Pipe for true dual 6.0?

    Just wondering before I start calling around and get prices on exhaust.

    I already have the mufflers Magnaflow 16 inch round stainless from the old setup and will have X PIPE. There badass...mellow at cruise....loud at WOT

    The factory 6.0 head pipes are 2 3/4" or 2 7/8" (depending on who you ask) so I would go 2.5" true dual at least.

    What are the sizes of the inlets/outlets for the mufflers you plan to use?

    2.5" miniumum. But with the fact that you are prolly going to mod it--I would do 3"...

    The mufflers and xpipe are 2.5....reason I asked was when I had my 383 stroker in it it had 2.25 pipes.

    Yes I am going to mod it eventually but seeing as I will be a dad again in January the truck will be on the back burner.

    I think for now I'll do the 2.5 pipe and when the conversion headers are done I'll step up the 3 inch.
