    Just Muffler Swap

Anyone simply swapped the stock muffler for a "Chambered" or "glass Pack"? I saw a 2003 dumped after the cats with no muffler or tailpipe and it wasn't that loud, so I wondered if a straight through muffler would sound better than stock and make a couple of extra horses on a fairly stock 5.3 ?

I have I put a Dynomax race bullet in place of the factory muffler and its dumped before the rear axle and it sounds good. better than a glasspack imo. just get a 3 inch inlet and anything will work.
    Step 1. crus at it.
    Step 2. get a hammer.
    Step 3. torch it.

yea i just put an SLP loudmouth 1 on my truck. with a 2.5" inlet and outlet. it isnt too loud and if u downshift to like 2 at 40mph it backfires and pops. sounds pretty sweet and we welded it in, in 40 minutes!
