    HHO race car.

While I was at work a friend of mine told me of these people down the street that had built a HHO race car. I was really excited, and drove down the street to have a look. They have a prototype car that they are mass producing for the road. While it looks way out of my price range, It none the less was an awesome ride.
It runs pretty much like mine, But on a larger scale. I wanted to take pics, but they said because of people trying to steal the patent that I could not. The only reason that i was allowed to see it, was because I was a city firefighter. I could not get close to it at all. However I saw it at the private airport, from a distance, in My city. It was doing test runs going 180+mph!!! Sounded awesome, too. I remember hearing a BOV as well.
Here is their web site. I am in no way affiliated with them. And I found it very cool that they are in such a small city. Great people. They actually closed down their Hot rod shop to devote all assets to these cars.
Check it out. I really do believe HHO is the future for us. Welcome to Ronn Motor Company PS... They will have it on display at SEMA.

It sure is the future. Honda has the FCX Clarity, a hydrogen fuell cell vehcile that they are testing for the US. You have to be a resident of Southern California to lease it--you can't buy it. You can lease one for 3 years at a rate of $600, with all maintenance included. I am just as sure as you are Jeff that HHO powered vehicles is going to be a very dominant type of vehicle of the future.

yes but I saw it at a distance. These rich effs own pretty much everything in Horseshoe Bay, TX. This is where i am a firefighter.
We were in the area just driving around and heard a car getting some. Then I look over to my left and it is on the air strip and flew by. He was in like 5th gear I guess and shifted into 6th. I thought it was just a turbo Ferrari, or something because of the exhaust tone and the shape. The rich guys race there allot. I am Like 99% sure I heard a blow off valve when it shifted gears.

yeah but at $150,000 who the hell can afford one? We need one available to the everyday consumer.

you might be surprised, most cars wont go full power in 6th gear cause its a weak gear just like you shouldnt spray in 4th, he was prob just shifting to 5th, my friends car topped 5th at 215 with 3.08's and a 28" tire

weak gear it cant hold the power, well that much extra power, 3rd gear is 1 to 1 right and then forth gear is a higher ratio, plus the resistance you get at the higher speed, i talked to a few builders and they said if i was to hit 4th under boost then i should kiss the 3-4 clutches good bye

is it just normally spraying that will do it to the tranny or any kind of forced induction?
