Thread: Mileage with 4.10's?

    I'm getting ready to install some 4.10's and i was wondering how bad my mileage was gonna change. My question is what is everybody with 4.10's getting ? Thanks Guys!!!!

    2006 GTO A4,HPE S+ cam,Volant, Kooks LT's, Magnaflow 3in.Catless cat back,3200 Fuddle converter,UDP. 7.49@93.57
    Coming up= Fast intake and heads.

    allen is, but he has the ls1 swap.. he gets around 22mpg if he drives the speedlimit.

    ya, you got it domes, 22-24mpg,

    you have that extended cab so those 4.10's will be great, i run about 2K rpms at about 60-65, i can't remember.

    it will be a badass upgrade, but you'll loose that 2nd gear downshift on the highway, i used to love that gear, going about 70 and drop that bad boy down into second, it would scream all the way up to about 105, now i have to use third and build the speed up, second it good for around a 55mph drop downs.

    but , being a truck, i like the quick launching.
