    rearend

    Is there any way to tell if my truck has a 8.5 ring gear or a 8.6

    Junkyard 5.3 milled heads 200 shot, built 4l80e with circle D 4000 multi disc converter

    same ring gear, different bearings for the carrier. im pertty sure

    The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

    i believe the 99 and newer have the big bearing rear, and the older ones have the small bearings. but same ring and pinion. almost positive
