You need a crank position relearn. Did you swap PCMs right before the light came on?

Usually a crank position relearn is needed when you swap PCMs so the new one knows where the crank is in relation to the crank sensor. If the light has been on since you swapped in your Nelson PCM that's what did it. Shouldn't hurt anything, as far as I know.

Anyone with EFILive or a TechII should be able to do it. Sometimes dealers charge for it, sometimes they will do you a favor and not charge you. It takes about 30 seconds to do. HPTuners may be able to do it also, but I dunno for sure.
