    Talking Anybody Done A Ls6 Swap On A 5.3 Yet?

    Thinking of doing a 04' z06 motor swap on my 03 sierra with the 5.3. i'm pretty sure all i'll have to do is reuse my intake manifold,headers and oil pan, and i'm sure the balancer to, but i was just wandering if anybody had done this swap yet that may hve a few pointers? like an idea where to find one (i've got my buddy at the salvage yard on the lookout) checked ebay but no luck? any help would be muchose help. thanks in advance

    I have a '02 LS1 in my '02 GMC. It is a direct bolt in with the swapped parts you mentioned. There is one bolt hole missing for the A/C compressor mount, you just leave that one out.
