    thinking of changing direction

ok guys iv been putting together this twin turbo build for a while now and the more i think about it, im leaning away from it. i checked at the track and there are no classes for twins. you can only run a single turbo. I wanna get more involved and try my hand @ racing with them guys. So i was thinking im gonna switch it up to a single turbo. the girlfriend is gonna pick me up a dry N2O kit for my birthday in 2 weeks ....thinking about a 100 shot dry hidden in a TB spacer and a rear mount hidden. tucked up under the truck as hidden as i can get it. run the piping hidden and make it look to the naked eye like a N/A LS motor. Hide it all very very cleanly. run 10 lbs of boost and then crank it up to 15 lbs at the strip. still gonna run the same cam etc. Cost is a significant factor in this build. Think im gonna just try and get together what i have for now and then upgrade to a huge turbo in the summertime when i have the money and when itll just be a couple bolts and lines to switch after the thing has been running for a while. i have the same turbo they use in the base sts kit. remember just for now.... then will upgrade after its running and money is better. what do you guys all think??

Sounds like a good idea to me, but how are you going to hide a pipe coming off the intake to no air filter under the hood

run piping straight off the TB downwards. keep it polished. take a filter cut a hole in the side. run a 90 out the bottom of the filter. keep it flat black to hide it. and get the dummy air filter as close to the bottom part the the radiator support as i can. snake the piping so that way the naked eye cant see it. 90% of the time the hood will be open will be at night anyway...

i kno haha thats what im gonna do. sitting there silent you wont be able to tell. at the strip u wont be able to hear it, too much noise. and at the street races, they will just think its the honda next to me. i think it would be cool to just mess with some peoples heads... esp the kids whos mommy and daddy bought them their 12 second car. yanno, the ones who dont kno jack ****
