    Question Transmission Compatibility

Hey guys I was just wondering if I could use a 4L60E or 65E in place of my 4L70E when I take it out. I'm taking my built trans out to sell it and im going to need a stocker unit to put in its place, I just dont know if a 60 or 65E will work because the 70E has an input speed sensor (ISS) It will be alot easier to find a good stock 60E and 65E, a 70E is gonna be hard to come by since there isnt near as many of them.
    Thanks,
    Sam

It should since its going behind the 6.0. Im not sure about the wiring though, but I dont see why it wouldnt bolt up.

I know it will bolt up, im just worried it might throw a check engine light or not shift right. I'm gonna call FLT tomorrow and see what they say. The 70E has a sensor that the other ones dont have.

Yeah, finding a stock 60e is going to be waaaaay cheaper and easier to find than a stock 70e...
