i'd Perfer the LQ9 or the LQ4!
less fabrication!
the LS2 different motor mounts and knock sensor different position..

Do the LQ4 or LQ9. They can be made to have much more power than the LS2 for about the same amount of money.

thanx that was what i was wondering now do yall know of a good place to get a lq9 for a resonable price
if you get that one ls2 for 3000 that jose found i would definitly do the ls2 over looking for an lq9....you already have the 5.3 so swapping things over should be easy

I think that you have to change the reluctor wheel on an LS2 crank to work with our trucks computers.

If you're paying $3000 for an engine you're not looking hard enough. A good LQ4 can be had for less than $1500, and a good LQ9 should be around $2000.
