    Stall

Ok I just ordered me a cam pkg. Its a 228/228 .588/.588 with comp 918 springs and push rods. What brand and size stall do you recommend? Im thinking about a yank maybe a 3000 or 3200. Now my next ? is if I have an fbody tranny would I need a stall for an fbody or are the truck and car trannies the same?

P.I. Vigilante 3000 or 3200. Or a Yank with the same stall. But I would go with P.I.

Or Virgil is making out really well with his Phoenix. Maybe he'll post up on price and where to buy.

Thanks Yankee. Ok where are the rest of the big gurus at? Surely your fingers must be itching to type something informative to help a brother out.

i say 3200 to 3400 stall you'll need a stall for a truck that wold work in that tranny... this a 5.7 motor?

Yeah, I am with Skeet. With a .588/.588 lift, you need a minimum of 3000. A 3600 would be NASTY in your truck. Just nasty. Do it.

Get a stall that mates up to the tranny. The 4L60e you have is from the Camaro donor car? If I remember correctly, a truck TC will bolt up to an F-body tranny (flexplate).
