    spark plug gap

    i bought some ngk tr55ix for the truck what should i gap them at
    [SIGPIC]5.3 k&n cai ,asm lt, hf cats, aero turbine muffler, vhp 216/224-551/551-115lsa, tbss intake, ls2 90mm tb,tb bypass, comp double roller tc, hv oil pump, ls2 injectors,nelson tune, b&m super cooler, taylor 10.4mm wires, ngk tr55ix, 373 Detroit tru trac,

    im gunna re gap mine i think, i put them to 40.. its been so long i cant remember lol, but my next set will be the a/c delco that are rated at 100,000 miles. they are suppose to be the best for these lsx motors..

    Those are iridium plugs so they come pre gapped just like the platinums do. You're really not supposed to touch them. TR6's are copper and made to be gapped. If you gap the iridiums be sure not to crack the tip at the insulator, I'm sure the ground strap will be fine though.

    i didnt gap the irdium ones.. for some reason the non iridiums were giving me miss fire codes in the 5.3 flex fuel motor.. so i tossed those bad boys in an all was well

    i gap my tr55's to .060. im all motor though.

    old mod list: H/C/I/N/E/G 408
    new mod list: 5.3, gears/posi, mufler and tune : (

    ngk website said to gap them at 44 so i will try that they come gapped at 57 i am putting them in tonight let yall how they do

    doesnt the manual say .060 on these trucks?
