    Nelson Tune ?

If I get a mail order tune (I'm in south Fl) when I take my truck to get warranty work done will they be able to find out it's a different pcm and tell me they won't work on my truck?

Yes they can tell, but there is a way around that little problem, just keep your stock pcm and swap it when you need warranty work done.

Eh, only if they hook up their scanner to it and read the tables. Good thing is that Nelson locks the tune so that if they do in fact read the tune, they can't change anything...

Not sure of the core charge. If you want, you can keep your stock PCM. If you don't wanna pay the core charge, you could get on Ebay or go to a junkyard and get a second PCM and then send that one and have it tuned instead...

200 miles or so for relearn, or to get the most power. crank relearn can be fixed by the tuner.
