    you would probably need some sort of power adder (No2, turbo, prochager) to justify it. I have been told the power gains are minimal. On the 4.8L Unless you are going more for looks.

    it will s**k!!! unless you go turbo charged or FI, now if you have a 6.0 with alot of displacement then it would be benficial .. spend your dollars wisely.. what you'll spend on that setup you could get a 6.0 and drop in the truck

    That setup is WAY overkill for any truck that is near stock. Say goodbye to torque and everyday driveability.

    I was thinking about modding the dual plane edelbrock intake to work with fuel injection. the main reason I'm wanting to do this is for the more classic look to it, but i'm skeptical about even putting that on to the 5.3. plus I dont know how I could keep it classic looking and still use a MAF.

    the part listed looks to be just the elbow, not the intake manifold also?
