Ok guys, i know i've made a few different threads b/c i cant really make up my mind..haha. was gonna do the chevy, then i blew my motor so i was going to do the stroker in my dodge, but after some research, it's def. much cheaper to just put a stock motor back in my truck, sell it, along with all the extras, then take out my loan and put it all into a chevy truck. I'd end up with a more powerful, faster, and the biggest thing...a more reliable truck. But i need you guys' help on building my motor. So here's the deal, i'm going to build a street/strip single cab 1500 silverado. I have a sponsorship deal with the local GM dealership, so i'd like to use as many GM performance parts as i can. I'd like to run around 600hp low boost and 800-900hp high boost on the street and track and maybe a little above on a couple track runs on BIG boost. Since i can get these parts at cost or less, what all gm performance parts can i SAFELY run at these power levels. I was thinking about the LSX block, but what about the C5R block since i'm not going "too" crazy, for weight savings. Will this block be fine as a 427 and a single turbo? I'm planning on using an ST80 turbo, b/c i'm sure the 427 will make plenty of power down low to make up for any lag the turbo might have. Also, on the gm parts you wouldnt advise, which replacements would you go for. I've got a deal on ETP245's, should i just go with those? or another head, like LS7? I have read though, that the LS7 head dominates other heads as far as hp goes, but i think that's just peek power, heads like ETP show way more power under the curve, and more torque, which i think is really what i'll need since i'm putting this combo in a truck. pretty much i'm asking, when you guys have time, can you help me build my engine?? haha
THANKS,
-Kyle

P.S. ....i dont want to hear it....I'm NOT a woman for changing my mind so many times....atleast i'm FINALLY getting it right!! HAHA
