    I still really want to get a t/a with a ls1, but I was wondering what's the difference between the 2000, 2001, and 2002 ls1 motors?
    thanks

After 00' all the ls1's came with the ls6 intake and some came with high flow induction (lid). As far as the SS's go they all come diff. from the factory cause the
    SLP packages.

yes im talkin about the camaros. The trans am is no diff in the years beside the ls6 intake(01-02)are the years they come in. Everything is the same though in all the years....oh yea in 98 all ls1's came with bigger injecters. Hope that helps

Excellent, that's all I needed to know, now I can get a 2000 trans am, and just put a Fast LSX intake on it.

There really inst enough difference between the years to chose one over the other. they are all preety much the same besides the intake. Camaro and Trans Am motor is the exact same thing.
