    LS6 cam questions...

I have been reading up and I can get a good LS6 cam and spring package for cheap, of course I would also swap out my pushrods while in the process. I have to choose this cam for smog reasons, I just wanted your opinions and experiences with this cam, gas mileage decrease, power increase, driveability, and idle, oh and will it work with my trailblazer stall I have ? Thanks guys -chris

should work well, never owned a set up of that nature but i think it would be a good all around set up and not hurt anywhere as for as gas milage and so forth ...

Hey i used to have a LS6 cam in my 4.8. I just have to say one thing it was a sloth down low.... but i had a stock stall your TB Stall will probly help. But after 2000RPM's my truck would scream. Gas milage was great didnt even notice a difference.

Idle wasnt lopy at all, most people couldnt even tell i had a cam until i raced them.

If you need any more info just ask.

cool thanks guys for all the info, yeah I do like the trailblazer stall, I shouldn't notice any difference with bottom end then since I already have the stall.
