New Slowrango

I was driving home minding my own buisness for once and i stop at a red light next to a new durango with the HEMI badges on it. they guy keeps reving up his motor. My truck is not fast by no means but i think Ok i know that the durangos weigh more than my truck but he has a HEMI all i have is a 5.7 TBI and a 5 speed. So i say ok. When the light turned green we both left pretty hard. When i hit second he pulled ahead of me slightly like most people usually do but after that i pulled him all the way to 85 where he let off. If i had to guess he was about two lengths behind me. However i did hear him hit a little bit of scratch hitting second where i caught up and passed him. I really wish first gear in my truck wasnt like 4.50:1 or so. Its not really a granny gear but its not an actuall first gear either. Its like it is inbetween. Anyhow now i know i can beat a new slowrango so now im going to try to get my buddy's father inlaw to race me in his new durango.

yeah, none of them ever want to race. I have a lead foot, and it doesnt get me anywhere.

Seriously i think its the cowl hood on my truck that gets the races. Cause nobody wants to race my other truck accept for the unsuspecting crustang guys. I guess he thought i was worth racing because of the hood. He would have been better off wasting the gas to go buy a new v8 trailblazer. I think if you want the cops to watch you like a hawk and get all the races you want you should get a cowl hood. they are saving themselves the embarasment by not racing you blownchevy
