Questions about Nelson tune

I want to get a nelson tune for my 06 4.8 but i have no clue what people r talking about when they say i had to relearn .... What does that mean? Also i live in florida do i need to go to texas to get one of these tunes?

relearn is nothing big...allen will give you instructions if the tune needs relearn...(i.e. push the throttle twice, hit the brake..)
no you dont have to come to texas...just let allen know wut mods you have, shift points you want, and so on...he will take care of you just give him a call and let him know wut you are looking to do or want...

Security Relearn happens to 1 out of 20 vehicles.
It takes about 30minutes
Nelson Performance - Security Relearn for no start
Then a Crankshaft Relearn needs to be performed with a TECH II Scanning Tool. You can go down to your local dealer and have this performed in about 5mins.

All the NBS 2007-2008 Have been experiencing Security Relearn and Crankshaft Relearn!

Yep, I even needed to do them both again after having my tune updated. Same ECM!!!

I lucked out and found a local guy with HPT that did both of mine for me for free.
