    5.3 with a big cam?

    224/228 .590/.590 113. too big for stock heads? Ill be putting about 10 psi of boost through it.

    thats the biggest cam i have seen in a 5.3 with stock internals. i know you will need new springs an rods.

    that is not too big for stock heads, but you need good springs.
    IMO, it isnt the best pick for boost.

    i've got a comp 206 212 .511 .522 112 lsa if your interested it only has 2000 miles on. might work better 4 ya

    I think you need a wider LSA for boost

    I agree. With boost you want the LSA to be higher so the boosted air does not escape the combustion chamber through the exhaust during stroke.

    It isn't THAT bad for boost, but it will work fine. Just make sure you have some longtube headers. And I would recommend PRC springs...
