Anybody know where I can get the correct color to paint my dash bezel back to its original color...or somebody want to swap for a tan one?

I know if you take it to a body shop they'll color match it and mix the paint with that kinda silcone like matrial so it feels stock

you talkin about the red painted part or the black bezel in the gauge cluster?
Looks great! I was thinking about mounting my Garmin in the same spot as you. Does it work well there? How did you mount it?

I took the airbag switch out and pushed it into the cavity,then I glued a plastic sheet to the back of the dash cover.Drilled a hole and removed the suction cup and epoxied a bolt to it then bolted to the plastic sheet.and it works great thereOriginally Posted by GMCwantsLS1

that is exactly where i HAD mine. It looks great and doesnt really block you view. Here is the problem! Over time the truck vibration will weaken the plastic in dash. Mine broke off leaving a quarter size hole in my dash. The chuck of dash that broke off was still attached to the tach. I had the same tach as you. Unless you beef up the mounting point i am affraid you will shed the same fait that my dash did. thats just my 2 cents and story. Good luck! red2k
