4:56, 4:88's or 5:13s With T56 OPINIONS?

Hey guys Im doing a T56 swap in my 06 rcsb. I know a few guys on here have the T56. I was wondering which gears rear end gears I should run. I want to go as high as possible without killing my gas milage, I usually dont go much faster than 75. Im gonna try an add a poll to this so give me some opinions guys!!

well most guys in the f-bodys like 4:10's with the T56, and still get decent MPG and plenty of top end speed.

So with the taller tires of the truck, id think 4.56 would be a nice option, anything higher and 1st gear is just going to blow the tires off and be way to short to be of any real use.

So i vote for 4.56

I have 32 inch tires on my truck if that helps i forgot to mention

My 99 Z28 had minor mods, 375HP, 4:10, T56, ran 11.9, got 24 MPG on the highway. I could do rolling burnouts at 35 MPH next to a guy who thought is car was hot ****. Go with the 4:56.

32s go with 513s. TurboGibbs on Pt.net has 513s with 31.5s and he cruises right were i am.

you need to rmember with a t56 is if you dont have the gear to support it 6th gear wont work well and it be a wasted effort..

I have 4.56's with 30'' tall tires,go ahead and do the 5.13's if your gonna run that tire from now on.

Does 2 inches really make that much of a difference on tires?! it seems nuts. No wonder my truck is a dog i have 323's right now i hate them. 5:13 sounds nuts I should be close to 450 wheel horse. ill be running 12 psi on my whipple. fully functional ram air hood, headers, true duals, Intercooled with meth injection and a nelson tune with the t56. Any body have any guesses for quarter mile times roughly with that set up. my truck is a rcsb.

They are 305-50r20's im running it works out to 32 inches not 30. thanks for all the info keep em coming!!

Well i know i'm going to get a set im still split though. I was on the highway last night with my 4l60 and at 75 the rpms are at 2200. So as long as im at pretty close to that with the t56 im perfectly happy. The problem is im still split on which gears to get! its a tough choice. Do you guys think with the 5:13's and my 32 inch tires i'll be close to that 2200rpm mark at 75?

im going with 4:56's with my 5.3 t56 swap i run 255/35/20 tires but will probably move up to a 265 or 275 with the new motor
