    Good Cam for my setup??

    2000 GMC Sierra
    4.8L
    Built 4L60e
    TT3000 Yank Stall Converter
    K&N FIPK II
    FLowmaster 3" from Y-Pipe back
3.73 gear with a Eaton Posi
    TB Spacer
    Ls1 fans
    TB Bypass

I plan on getting a Nelson Tune and Headers sooner then later.. I didnt plan on pulling the motor apart but I have a lifter that wont shut up and I decided I might as well replace the cam and all while I am at it..

You've got the supporting mods and a great converter - I really think mine would be a good match for your setup. I ran a 224/224 in my 5.3 and that was a 4wd ext. cab and I loved it. This isn't that much bigger. But I'll let others chime in....

well i dont know much but wut i have seen on the site and i think that the 224/224 will be to big....you have a good stall but i think you would benefit best with a 220/220...just due to engine size...

Yeah Moze, I'd love for you to sell your cam as fast as possible too, but I think your cam is too big for his little 4.8L. I'd say something like a 220/220 .563/.563 114 LSA +3.

212/218 in a 4.8 sounds pretty good and would be pretty awesome with the tt3000

Texas Speed and Performance has really good deals. Allen is a Comp dealer. You can probably find a used one on here or on PT.net or LS1tech.

    an LPE GT2-3 (207/220 .571/.578 w 1.7 rocker 118.5 CL)

andy at ADM Performance (214-228-8782) has one in his hands right now.....springs and all.....and he has a set of stage II lpe 243/ls6 heads that would marry real well....

the heads and cam made over 410+ in a TBSS 6.0L WITH cats

the cam made 380+ in MANY TBSS's in the DFW with otherwise stock trucks....

this is a SUPER BABY cam....torque from idle on....
