im looking at purchasing a 2006 2wd crew cab with the 5.3 flex fuel (vin code z). ive heard they have bigger fuel pumps and injectors, but what issues if any are there with doing the following: cold air kit, long tube headers, off road y pipe, cat back exhaust, comp cam 212/218, 918 valve springs, 4.10 gears and 22 inch wheels. any hurdles i should know about?
The only reason why they have the bigger stuff is from the motor's ability to run E85 Ethanol. E85 requires bigger injectors... You shouldn't run into any issues... Just make sure you get a custom tune!
