Gen IV Valley Cover on an Iron 6.0 Block?

Ok, im building an iron 408 for a buddy of mine that im also swaping into a 96 S10 with a T56 trans. Were are using all LS2 top end stuff on top if the block, and wanted to see if a GEN 4 valley cover for and engine without DOD will work. Were using the stock 6.0 cam and crank sensors, and not the LS2 front cam sensor, and will also be using LS2 knock sensors. and LS2 oilpan and Truck accessory drive.

    Thanks for the help.

Yes the Ls2 knock sensors are on the side of the block, which is where we are running them, which is why i thought about using a GEN 4 valley cover. I think the bolt pattern is the same.

Yes, it will work. An EXTREMELY odd combo of matching Gen III and Gen IV stuff, but it will work.

no, the knock sensors just screw into existing bolt holes, the LS2 sensors are completly differant than the valley mounted sensors.
