Red face Clifford Remote start Alarm

i just recently had a remote start alarm installed on a 2003 chevy sliverado and when remote started the antitheft light in the dash cluster comes on and stays on, not only that but any time truck is started the doors lock , wich is normal, but when put into gear the doors try to lock again. if anyone knows if the light is supposed to stay on and if the doors are supposed to lock and unlock twice please comment thanks

its a setting. read your manual and it will tell you how to change it. you can have it lock when you drive over 10 mph for 3 seconds.. or when you put it into gear.. and i think some other options

The antitheft light is part of the factory security sytem--VATS. You can have that disabled in a custom tune. And yes--as much as I'd hate to say this--but Ricky is right. There is a section in the manual that shows you how to reprogram your locks. If you don't have it in there, let me know and I will post something about it...
