    93' 4L80E work behind a 6.0L

Is there any problems with installing a 93' model trans behind a 6.0L??
I have heard the early 4l80E were not great.....

well the 91-92 models suffered lubrication problems, and problems with the internal harness. You woudl def be better off starting out with a newer trans, but they can all be updated with the newest parts and upgrades.

The biggest problem will be the case itself, there is no provision for the center top bolt, so if you left it ouot you would only be able to get 4 bolt in to the block, which might be fine for awhile, but not the best idea.

Of course you can change the case, its only money.

Thats what I figured! Only reason I got this trans in the first place was to replace my 700r4 behind my carb'd 383.

I guess I will try to sell it or c if a local salvage yard will take a trade for a newer style.
