I was going to build me a set of headers from some misc. J and U bends that are 1 5/8". I really want a turbo (it's gonna take a while, but it'll happen) so I decided to skip the exhaust and just start on the turbo manifolds.
My busted ass exhaust will just have to survive a few more months.

I got my tubing (just ordered it), and I got my 1/2 flanges that bolt to the heads.

Next will be some turbo flanges and some collectors (if i need them)

Just keeping you updated on the parts, if you have any input, I'd appreciate it.
