We put a cam in a DoD '07 Avalanche and we learned a few things.

The cam goes in just fine, in this case it was a Z06 cam, but we ran into a few issues that I'll post up later.

The oiling system is a bit different for the 8 select lifters.

We retro fitted the block with older lifters, then went back and forth.

These new computer systems don't take too well with forced induction, this one got a turbo too, and big injectors without a lot of tuning and patience.
It turned out nice in the end.
