    4L70E shift kit installed

Installing a transgo HD shift kit is the same for this trans, expect you have to pull the pump to install the boost valve. We didn't do this because we didn't want to tear into the trans, but a few tweeks with the PCM and the trans feels great!
Under easy acceleration, it shifts like a stock trans, under wot, it slams into gear, just the right feeling.

It's a high output Avalanche. We didn't tear into the trans, so I don't know the difference.
I know some of the 65E's had a solenoid blocking the boost valve, so does this one and it's a tad different when you pull the case, just a couple things, nothing major.

Just wanted to post up that the 60e trans kit worked just fine.
