Well, its been awhile since i been on here or 2ktukin20's but im back. after putting off doing anything to my truck due to quad racing, i sold the darn quad and now its my trucks turn. im gonna fix truck up before i buy another quad. but anyways Cody Twin turboed his truck and all that went south lol but anywho i got a few questions. First off my truck has a 5.7L Vortec in it with 197,283 miles and it still runs damn strong. its got a new stock ignition in it (dist, cap, rotor and plugs and wires and coil) It needs faster here are the questions.
1. Will a 100 shot hurt my motor as long as its on a WOT switch and i dont hit it that much?
2. Will a Cold Air Kit help much?
3. Throttle body spacer? Junk or good hting? Add Anything?
4. Tuning? how much HP can i look for with a good tune?
5. Cams? good cam and spring combo for a lil more HP?
My goal here is at least 360 RWHP that enough for a daily driver, although 400 be nice. my girl said ditch the quads and fix yer truck, so im listening heheh. i wanna get it to par so i can come to the LS1 truck get togehters at the strips! so all info GREATLY Appreciated.
