I got my air/fuel gauge in and the instructions say to connect one of the wires from the gauge to the signal wire on the oxygen sensor. My question is which wire is the signal wire and which oxygen sensor would be the best one to get a reading from and why?

Sounds like you didn't buy a wideband afr gauge. The wideband comes with it's own sensor.
The narrowband gauge is just going to be a light show for you.

You need a wide band that is a stand alone gauge. They are more reliable. Allen set mine just behind the turbo. It works great. I went with an AEM wide band gauge.

Right its just a narrow band, but I didnt get the one with the lights, this one has a needle. Those little lights flashing would get on my nerves. Does anyone know which wire is the signal wire?

You need a wide band. I have the AEM too.

Glad to see you are following the advice though!
