Not a geat deal, just OK. Missing connector that he talks about but did not name and the price is abut the same as you can usually get from the wrecking yard.

Is this a good way to do a swap? Using an entire stire stock wiring harness I mean. Pain in the aXX maybe, but is it worth what you save in cash? What if you could get an entire harness from headlights to taillights, would that be good for a swap?

Depends..... The harnesses are not that difficult to modify and you can save a few dollars which you can then apply to PCM reprogramming or some additonal trinkets for your engine...... That is only IF you are comfortable doing wiring and have access to the schematics for both the donor and your swap vehicle. The harnesses on the late models are completely separated between body harness and engine harness... So there is no benefit to getting a complete nose to tail harness unless your swap vehicle's body harness is totally hashed or non-existent and again your are comfortable modifying things and want just something to start from......... but you don't need the body harness to run the engine.

    kwkenuf's on top of it...

I found all the interior harness stuff in tact off of ebay that came from a flooded vehicle for $30 (shipped). Sure, I wore latex gloves to clean the necessary connectors that I wanted, and only used what I absolutely needed, but I was desperate on wiring & didn't mind doing this. Not all of the harness had damage.

I used the stock engine wiring, underhood fuse block, and other connectors for instrument cluster gauges and such. It's tedious, but not difficult. Nelson Performance sells neater harnesses that can be hidden just about out of sight.

I needed to cut my budget, so I did it myself.
