Yup its possible, i've seen a few with those clips.

yeah, just buy it as a complete front clip(including core support). im thinking bout changing to 03-05 style on mine.

with mods sure. as a matter of fact . i saw a guy that doing that exact same thing yesterday. i was passing by. i noticed he was working on it.
